This page will be for all of the cards that are extremely difficult and in some cases considered scarce. I will add them to this page as dream cards and when I actually get one of these cards I will post it here under the title Dream Cards I Own. Checkout my buying prices for these and other cards. I will pay above book and a premium and those buying prices are on My Biggest Wants page.
UPDATE: I have now just got the Nadine Muzerall card and it is now signed.
I have not only found the Nadine Muzerall card but I actually got this card signed. This is not a very easy card to locate and to get the card signed is very, very difficult. This card is now my Golden Gem card. This card of Marisa Pettiford was the most difficult card to locate but as you can see not only did I find the card but it is signed. Yesterday was a very good good mail day but not because of the USPS this time it was that little brown truck (UPS) that brought so much beauty to my collection. Beautifully signed in Gold thin Sharpie.
This is the 1997-98 true Rookie card of Nadine Muzerall and yes it is signed beautifully in Gold Sharpie. I have seen her autograph before but never on this card, this is my second Muzerall autograph and not many can say that. She is not an easy autograph to get through the mail. Not sure about in person.
These 2 card of Ambria Thomas are both signed and if you study each autograph you can see a slight difference. There is a very good reason the first card shows it signed in gold and the one signed in black. The first card was actually signed back in 1998 while the one in black was just recently signed. This happens because as we age as the hand may not be as steady and if someone has not signed as much. The difference in these is not much except the one in gold you see her first name fully but the second card in black just the letter "A". I now own four of her autographs, 3 of them are signed recently and the gold one is from her rookie season of 1997-98.
This autograph is another very difficult auto to locate and almost impossible through the mail. She has a very beautiful autograph and the highlight is if you look closely you can see how she dots her letter "I". It looks like a star and that is what makes her autograph unique. Another autograph that I am very happy to add to the collection.
This card is the 2002-03 Rookie card of Hockey Hall of Famer Krissy Wendell. Krissy's rookie season 2002-03 she scored 27 goals, 28 assists for a total of 55 points. A year before that she played in the 2001-02 Olympics winning a silver medal with Team USA. I have noticed that a lot of these are smaller size cards. These measure 3 1/2 X 2 1/4. These cards were not separated by any perforation as they had been in previous years. I am very pleased I was able to add this little Gem of a Hall of Famer who deserved to be inducted in the Hockey Hall of Fame. Krissy is a great signer for her fans and seems to care for her fans and that speaks volumes in today's hobby.
This card is the 2002-03 card of Winny Brodt and this is her senior year with the University of Minnesota Gophers. Winny played her freshman year with the University of New Hampshire. She then left the Gopher Burrow and played with the National Team USA in the 1999-00 and 2000-01 seasons coming back in 2002-03 to finish playing her college career coming back to the Gophers. After her college career ended she played in the Western Women's hockey League playing with the Minnesota Whitecaps. Winny is another great signer for her fans and I am pleased to add this card to my collection.
This card is the 2005-06 University of Minnesota Rookie card of Gigi Marvin. I did take a chance and sent it to her for her autograph. I only took the chance because I had sent to her 2 other times and she did sign both times but still I was a bit wary but it did pay off as I got it back signed. Gigi had a long successful career finishing with the Boston Fleet of the new PWHL. She won two silver medals at the Olympics 2009-10 & 2013-14 and one gold medal 2017-18.
